Emergency Calling 911 |
| |
AtlasVoice™ gives you immediate access to emergency services when you dial 911, but because the AtlasVoice™ service is also a mobile service, the 911 service works differently than your regular 911 service.
911 dialing and the AtlasVoice™ service do not function during an electrical power or broadband provider outage.
You must provide the address where you will primarily be using the service. If you are using the service elsewhere, the emergency response centre will not automatically know your location. In this case you need to provide the location you are calling from, verbally during the call. If you are not able to speak with the emergency response centre, they will call you back to get your exact location. If the emergency response centre is unable to get a response from you after calling back, they will dispatch emergency personnel to your primary address. Do not hang up unless instructed to do so by emergency call centre operator; If you get disconnected, please redial the emergency call centre operator.
Please see our Terms of Service for more information about our 911 dialing feature. |
